When SunClan's territory flooded a number of MoonClan cats went to save them. But the current was too fast and even the strongest of swimmers were swept away. Several of the cats that went barely managed to drag themselves to shore and report back to the clan. For two moons MoonClan was without a true leader and Medicince cat for no one knew what had happened to the formidable Adderstar or the respectable Silverstorm. News of Adderstar finally came through two returning MoonClan cats, though many have returned, including Silverstorm. Meadowfrost and Ashpaw have brought news of Adderstar and very shortly after Meadowfrost's return, she brought into the world two kits that are the first MoonClan born and bred since their catnapping. The news of Adderstar was less pleasant for Adderstar has died and the striking white deputy Nightwhisper has become Nightstar and her new deputy is the wise elder warrior, Splashdown. Now MoonClan must do what they can to preserve their ways while putting their grief aside. The question remains however, what happened to SunClan and will they ever return? Not everyone can handle the grief of the loss of SunClan and one warrior, Wolfripple, has asked a temporary pardon so he may grieve alone. Will he remain alone or will he return to the Clan?

"Well hello newcomer." Your eyes flitter open, expecting to see that strange flaming tomcat again. Instead though, the night sky's darkness is met by a different tomcat. This one seems gentle, and more like you. He's all black, with yellow eyes. Though he's missing an ear, you feel like you can trust him already.
"You chose well in joining Moonclan. I am Adderstar, a past leader of Moonclan. Let me tell you a little about us..
"If you believe in luck, do know that Moonclan has a poor share of it. It seems we are in trouble more often than not, but we are a determined bunch and we don't give in.
"We have been catnapped by twolegs, attacked by rogues and washed away in a flood. Yet we still survive.
"We have grown to be nimble on our paws, our main source of prey are rabbits. You'll learn to love them.
"I have left a dear friend in charge. Her name is Nightstar, you'll be in good paws.." The black tomcat reaches towards you and pats you on the forehead, you fall back asleep but you faintly hear his voice once more.. "You won't remember this, but good luck on your journey."
